Paul grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Peters Township High School before heading to Brown University, where he studied philosophy and political science with a specific focus on the relation between work and freedom.
While at Brown, Paul piloted a program supporting unhoused folks as they appealed denials for public housing subsidies and conducted in-depth research on discrimination perpetrated by landlords based on criminal records, rental history, credit history, and source of income. Paul was also an active member of the Sunrise Movement, organizing large-scale public actions to advocate for climate justice and social change.
In 2022, Paul joined Hickton and Stein Law Group as a Paralegal, where he supports the legal team through extensive research and case preparation on family, dependency, civil, and criminal cases.
Outside of his professional work, Paul remains deeply involved in organizing around collective living and anti-carceration.
